AFCOM® AND DEALCENTER, LLC ANNOUNCE PARTNERSHIP TO LAUNCH THE DATA CENTER WORLD® DEALCENTER
AT THE ANNUAL CONFERENCE FOR DATA CENTER PROFESSIONALS
NEW YORK, NY and ORANGE, CA – August 11, 2009 – DealCenter, LLC, a social media platform and online meeting system deployed via a customized web site that allows attendees and exhibitors to schedule meetings with their peers leading up to and during a trade show, conference or expo, announced today it will provide this meeting service at Data Center World, held October 4-7, 2009 in Orlando, FL. Data Center World is one of the largest global events of its kind and is presented by AFCOM, the premier data center association representing the largest data centers around the world.
Data Center World features educational sessions such as a data center management track, peer learning sessions and roundtable discussions all focused on effectively promoting, managing and selling your data centers in the telecommunications industry and beyond. In addition, the keynote address entitled 'The Voice of the Business: Connecting Data Center Decisions to Business Value' will be presented by Andy Parham, Chief Executive Officer of the Bick Group.
“We're very excited to add the DealCenter to the list of benefits and features we provide to our attendees and exhibitors coming to Orlando," said Jill Eckhaus, CEO of AFCOM, organizer of Data Center World. "Networking among peers in the data center industry is a key part of our participants' ongoing success, and the Data Center World DealCenter will provide an excellent avenue for all of our attendees and exhibitors to network effectively with one another starting weeks before our conference opens its doors."
The DealCenter will offer its online meeting platform to Data Center World Conference attendees and exhibitors in the weeks leading up to the show as well as for one month after the show. By deploying the DealCenter for post-conference networking, the opportunities to connect with peers will not end in Orlando, but will be extended for an additional 30 days, thereby providing further ROI for participants’ registration dollars.
"The DealCenter team understands the value of effective networking and as such, has created an online platform that fosters on-site event meetings and fresh business leads," states Jaymie Scotto, CEO of DealCenter, LLC. “We look forward to attendees and exhibitors using the Data Center World DealCenter as an effective tool to grow new and existing business opportunities before, during and after the conference."
